Defibrillators to be installed across all ASH sites
Delighted to have received our shipment of 7 Defibrillators, one for each of our sites this morning.
These life saving devices will be located on the outside of our buildings, to not just provide a vital safety function for our staff on a day to day basis, but also for people in the local area who suffer cardiac arrest.
So, early week our two offices on the Wrexham Industrial Estate and our depots in Bretton, Widnes, Ellesmere Port, Dunkirk and Rowley Regis will be kitted out with the latest life saving equipment.
So what are Defibrillators?
A defibrillator is a device that gives a high energy electric shock to the heart of someone who is in cardiac arrest. This high energy shock is called defibrillation, and it’s an essential part in trying to save the life of someone who’s in cardiac arrest.
To use a remote access Defibrillator, call 999, advise of your location, and the advisor will be quickly able to give you the access code to open the device.
Here at the ASH Group, we are committed to protecting not only our staff but the public too.
