An opportunity has arisen for a Loading Shovel Operator / Trainee Loading Shovel Operator to our business, based on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.

Working on-site the main duties will include loading various waste into machinery or articulated trailers, maintaining site and general yard duties.

The successful candidate will have experience of operating site machinery and ideally hold a valid 23 tonne articulated shovel category or be willing to learn. With excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills the successful candidate will be able to work in a team and organise, prioritise workload to meet deadlines.

An opportunity has arisen for a General Yard to join our business, at ASH Waste, Redwither Road, Wrexham

Working on site the main duties will include handling and sorting of various waste types, general site cleaning and maintenance, and supporting the yard operations as required.

The successful candidate will have worked within a operational site environment as well as a basic knowledge. Training will be given to the right candidate for machinery. With excellent communication (written and oral) and inter-personal skills the successful candidate will be able to work in a team and organise, prioritise workload to meet deadlines, have a flexible approach and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver

Widnes, Ellesmere Port, Wrexham, Bretton (Chester) & Rowley Regis

An opportunity has arisen for LGV Drivers to join our depots across the group to undertake various roles including trade and commercial waste collections, skip delivery and collections, tipper delivery and collections. The LGV Driver role will be responsible for driving the wagon to each customer location and carrying out duties specific to the role.

The successful candidate will have a current LGV (Class 2 (C)) licence and have recent experience of driving large vehicles along with a valid driver CPC qualification card. With excellent communication and inter-personal skills the successful candidate will be able to undertake physical duties, work in a team, and meet deadlines.

New Contracts Assistant

Wrexham

An opportunity has arisen for a New Contracts Assistant to join our team at our headquarters on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.

Report to the New Contracts Manager, the role will liaise on a daily basis via telephone with new customers and brokers, administrating the contract process and setting them up on the internal systems and in house CRM system.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working in a busy office and using internal CRM systems and Microsoft office. With excellent communication both verbal and written, and inter-personal skills, the successful candidate will be able to work in a team, be able to organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.

Transport Operations Assistant

Wrexham – Hours to cover the operations (Monday – Saturday)

An opportunity has arisen for a Transport Operations Assistant to join our business, ASH Waste Services based at Wrexham.

Working on site the Transport Operations Assistant, under the direction of Operations Manager, will coordinate the day to day planning and efficient and effective routing of work for the fleet to complete all required work. The role will liaise with customers to understand and manage their contract requirements whilst managing all day to day issues that arise and finding solutions. In addition, the role will liaise as first point of contact for drivers for queries and holiday booking as well processing all required documentation, site reception, enquiries and general office duties.

The successful candidate will ideally have recent experience of working within a fast paced transport operations, undertaken planning or routing vehicles. With excellent communication (written and oral) and inter-personal skills the successful candidate will be able to work in a team and organise, prioritise workload to meet deadlines and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.

Collection Advisors

Wrexham

An opportunity has arisen for Collection Advisors to join our head office on the Wrexham Industrial Estate. Reporting to the Collections Manager this role will administer the day to day management, collection and chasing of outstanding invoices within a fast paced office. The role will be responsible for updating and maintaining the debit management and ledger systems.

The successful candidate will hold GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C and above in English and Maths, have recent experience of working within a busy collections or debit management environment. It would be desirable if the successful candidate has worked within a fast paced credit control environment and used / has knowledge of credit control systems. The successful candidate will have strong inter-personal skills, including a confident telephone manner. With the ability to develop effective working relationships, be able to work on their own and in a team the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a professional approach in all situations, prioritise workload, work under pressure and identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Customer Service Advisors

An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team at our Head Office. As part of the Customer Services Team, the role will be responsible for managing and assisting a range of Customer queries via telephone and email, to finding positive solutions to each situation.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in Customer Service and working in a call centre environment. Excellent communication, investigative and inter-personal skills including a strong and confident telephone manner will be required by the success candidate as well as being able to work in a team, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and strong Microsoft skills.
